In the coming months, health-care providers who are not directly involved in the care of corona patients will receive 60% to 85% (this varies per sector) of their usual income from ONVZ so they can continue to pay their fixed costs. "We do not just need our health-care providers during, but also after the corona crisis. That is why we will continue to support them during this difficult time," said Jean-Paul van Haarlem, chairman of ONVZ.
The aid will take effect retroactively from March 1st and will continue until at least 1 June 2020. This period may be extended if necessary. Health-care providers who are entitled to financial assistance will soon be notified by their professional organisation.
