What does Tandfit Preventief cover?
The basic health-care plan covers the majority of dental expenses up to the age of 18. However, if you are aged 18 or above, that is no longer the case. So why not take out one of our supplementary ONVZ dental health-care plans? The coverage shown is per adult, per calendar year.

General dental care
Coverage for general dental care (no implants, crowns, bridges, inlays or root canal treatments), up to a maximum of € 2.000. Gum treatment and fillings will be covered up to a maximum of € 300.

ExpertClean Smart toothbrush
1 Philips Sonicare ExpertClean electric toothbrush, max., for entire term of the health-care plan, and 4 brush heads per calendar year

If you do not have an ONVZ basic health-care plan, you pay a surcharge of 50% on Tandfit Preventief.

ONVZ Vrije Keuze Basic health-care plan
ONVZ has two basic health-care plans: ONVZ Vrije Keuze and ONVZ Bewuste Keuze. If you would like the Tandfit Preventief supplementary health-care plan, it is only available in combination with the ONVZ Vrije Keuze Basic health-care plan.

If you apply for Tandfit Preventief after the 1st of February, the insurance will commence on January 1st of the next year.

If you move to another country, you will no longer receive new brush heads. You can, however, continue to use the ExpertClean and your Tandfit Preventief plan will remain in effect.

The general rules and regulations apply to all health care and to everyone. They specify things such as coverage exclusions and changes you have to let us know about.
