Keeping your ONVZ health-care plan
You’ll be able to keep your ONVZ health-care plan in certain situations. It depends on the country you’re moving to and on whether you’ll continue to work in the Netherlands. Check whether health-care insurance is compulsory in the country you’re moving to. The rules might be different for members of your family.

If you are moving abroad, but not to an EU/EEA country, a treaty country or Switzerland, you probably won’t be allowed to keep your Dutch basic health-care plan. You should inform our Service Centre that you are moving abroad via live chat or by calling +31 (0)30 639 62 22.
