Secured file exchange

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. That is why we send privacy-sensitive information via Secure Mail, a secure environment. Allow us to explain how this works.

 

 

 

Opening your secure message

ou will receive two e-mails from us.

  • First e-mail: contains a link to your secure message.
  • Click on the link to open the secure message.
  • Second e-mail: contains the password you need to view the secure message. 

Your mail server may filter out (one of) the 2 messages as spam. Please check your spam box if you have received only 1 message, or if you are expecting correspondence from us but have not yet received any.

The page holding the secure message offers the option to choose English.

Downloading attachments

You will find any files we attach in the secure message.

  • Click on the attachments to open or save them.

The secure message will only remain viewable for a number of days. You can only download any attachments a few times. We therefore advise you to immediately download and save the attachments in a safe location.

Sending a reply

To respond to a message received via the secure environment, follow the steps below:

  1. Click 'Reply to Sender'
  2. Click 'Send'

The messages you send via Secure Mail are always secure. This method can therefore be used to send (medical) personal details.

Important: responses sent from your own inbox (for example Outlook) are not secured via the Secure Mail environment.

Adding attachments

To add attachments to your message, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on 'browse to attach files' under 'Attachments'.  
  2. Select the file and click 'Open'. This will add the attachment to your message.
  3. Click 'Send' to send the message and its attachments.
