OtherLiving and working abroad You cannot keep the basic health insurance If you are going to live and work abroad, in most cases you cannot keep your Dutch basic insurance. Do you have the basic insurance from ONVZ? Then please contact us for more information about your personal situation. Before you leave for abroad, you must cancel the basic insurance. You can do this as soon as you know when you are moving. Do you want to cancel the basic insurance with us? Then we need the following documents: Proof of termination of employment in the Netherlands (if applicable) Proof of employment abroad (if applicable) Based on your information, we will determine the end date of your insurance. AbroadTIGRA What does a health check-up at TIGRA involve? The health check-up is carried out by a trained Occupational Health Advisor. And consists of several measurements such as BMI, lung function, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol and a physiotherapy examination.
